Domino update, that address again
In an earlier post, I noted that Fats Domino had gone missing in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. A piece of good news: the 77-year-old singer and pianist was rescued via helicopter earlier this evening, and appears to be in reasonable shape. Meanwhile, the great Allen Toussaint is still unaccounted for, although Fox News speculates that he may be among the throng that took shelter in the Super Dome.I mentioned the McCormick Tribune Foundation Hurricane Katrina Relief Campaign in an earlier post, but wanted to reiterate: the foundation is matching every dollar with fifty cents and bearing all administrative costs itself.
